Planning for September 2018

We are beginning to take the first steps in organizing for September based on our best estimate of the enrolment for the coming year.   It is important for us to know the accurate number of students in all grades.  We need to gather all important information to submit correct numbers to the ministry of education.  We need to know, for example, if you plan to have your child switch from French Immersion to English since this would impact our class sizes.  If you will be moving or plan to move prior to the start of the next school year please call the office to let us know.  The school board policy requires students to attend the school that is in the boundary of their home address.  You may request to attend a school that is “Out of Boundary” from your home address but this requires paperwork and an approval process.

Already, lots of eager 3 and 4 year olds have been registered to start kindergarten in September.  Children born in 2014 are eligible for JK and those born in 2013 for SK.  Please register online and contact our office to complete the registration process.  We ask you to encourage your neighbours who do not have children already attending Baden, to go online or call the school for registration information if they have not yet done so.
